She is an active social worker, spreading awareness in the areas of HIV/AIDS, child marriage, and education, with organizations like LEPRAINDIA, UNICEF. She also has been a key person in establishing a voluntary organization WOMEN IN NETWORK, working in the urban slums of Hyderabad. She is the brand ambassador for SAKHI, an organization for the hearing impaired. She also supports Viswadrukh Foundation For the Blind.
