Nandamuri Balakrishna is a prominent Telugu film actor, He is the son of great actor, politician, founder of "Telugu desham" party and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, his mother is Basava Tarakam. He is spouse of Vasundhara Devi in the year 1982. He is father of 0ne son and two daughters those are Tarakarama Mokshagna Teja(son), Brahmini(daughter),Tejaswini(daughter). Balakrishna's siblings are Late Rama Krishna(brother), Jaya Krishna(brother), Hari Krishna(brother), Mohana Krishna(brother), Sai Krishna(brother), Jr Rama Krishna(brother) and Jaya Shankar Krishna(brother), Smt Uma Maheswari(sister), Smt Bhuvaneswari(sister), Smt Lokeswari(sister) and Smt Purandheswari. He is brother in law of fromer chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Daggubati Venkateswara Rao. Balakrishna was born on june 10 1960 at Template,Chennai. His native place is Nimmakuru, Krishna district. He complets B.A studies at Chennai and entered into the film industry at the age of 14 years as a child artist the movie 'Tatamma Kala’ in year 1974.He appeared in the highest number of dual roles (Thirteen) and one triple role in the latest flick Adhinayakudu (2012).

His solo entry as hero with the movie "Sahasame jeevitam" under the home production. He acted in "Aanadammula anubandam" at the age of 16, remake of hindi movie "Hitiyadonki barath". "Danaveera sura karna","Srimathvirataparvam","Akbar saleem anarkali" and "Sri thirupati venkateshwara kalyanam" are the most memorable mivies in balayya's life because he acted these films with his father Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao.
