Mukesh Ambani is an Indian business man, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). He was born on April 19, 1957 in Aden, Yemen. He was elder son of Dhirubhai Ambani and Kokilaben Ambani. Mukesh having three siblings Anil Ambani, Nina Kothari and Deepti Salgaonkar. He married Nita, the pair having three children Akash Ambani, Anant Ambani and Isha Ambani.
Early Career
In 1970, The Ambani family lived in a two-bedroom apartment in Bhuleshwar, Mumbai. Ambani was a student at the Hill Grange High School, He received his BE degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Matunga.
Business career
in 1981 that Mukesh Ambani joined the family business in Dhirubhai Ambanis Reliance. He started the expansion of the company activities from just textiles to areas as diverse as polyester fibres, petroleum refining and petrochemicals. He also started the Reliance Infocomm Limited rebranded as Reliance Communications Limited.
