Ashok Selvan started acting career with participation in Short films. He completing a dozen short films as an actor as well as directing a few including Green, which won Best Film at the 2012 International Tamil Thoth Conference held in Singapore. His first big screen movie is Billa II as a childhood charecter of Billa. Ashok first lead rol film is Soodhu Kavvum, its became a commercial success.
