Kareena Kapoor is an Indian actress. She was born on Sep 21, 1980 at Mumbai, India. Her parents are Randhir Kapoor, an actor and actress Babita. She is the grand daughter of actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor. Karishma is sister of actress Karishma Kapoor.
She done schooling at Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai and Welham Girls School, Dehradun. completed higher education in Mithibai College, Vile Parle, Mumbai. Kareena married Saif Ali Khan(Actor) on 16th October 2012.

Kareena debuted with the movie Refugee opposite Abishek Bachchan. In this movie Kareena performance earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Her second movie is Satish Kaushik opposite Tusshar Kapoor, Its a box office hit movie.

Kareena Later acted in many movies Ajnabee, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.., Talaash, ain Prem Ki Diwani Hoon etc. In 2004 she acted in Chameli. Chameli was well received by critics, earning Kapoor a special jury recognition at the 49th Filmfare Awards. Kapoor acted in Mani Ratnams bilingual project Yuva alongside Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan, Vivek Oberoi, Rani Mukerji and Esha Deol. In 2007 she acted in the romantic comedy Jab We Met directed by Imtiaz Ali. in 2011 she acted opposite Salman Khan in the romantic drama Bodyguard. She next appeared in Anubhav Sinhas science fiction film Ra.One with Shahrukh Khan.
