Pothineni Ram was born on 15 May 1987 at Hyderabad, India. He is actor in 'Telugu' and 'Tamil'. His parents are 'Pothineni murali mohan' and 'Pothineni padmasree'. He is the nephew of Telugu producer 'Sravanti Ravi Kishore'. His schooling is done at 'Chettinad Vidyashram' and 'St.Johns School', Chennai. He completes his education in chennai. He started his acting career at the age of 12 years with a short film named 'ID' in tamil, for this he got best actor award. He entered in telugu film industry in 2006 with the movie 'devadas' produced and directed by 'Mr. Y.V.S Chowdary'.
