Naga Chaithanya is hero in tollywood. He is son of 'Akkineni Nagarjuna', grand son of 'Akkineni Nageshwararao' and Maternal grand son of 'Dr.D.Ramanaidu'. His mother is 'Daggupati Laxmi', his step mother is 'Akkineni Amala'. Presently Nagachaithanya lived with his father and his step mother Amala. Naga Chaitanya was born on nov 23,1986 in Hyderabad, later he shifted to chennai, after splitting their parents. His schooling is done at PSBB School in Chennai. Acting school in Hollywood Studios in California. After completing his acting course, he entered into film industry with his debut film 'Josh' in 2009.

Naga Chaithanya completes his Acting training in Hollywood Studios in California, After completion of his training he entered into industry with the movie 'Josh'in 2009, directed by newcomer 'Vasu Varma' and produced by 'Dil Raju', with co-artist 'Karthika Nair', daughter of 'Radha'. He is entered into acting career because of his father 'Akkineni Nagarjuna'.

Naga Chaithanya won both 'Film fare' and 'Nandi' awards for his performance. His second movie is 'Yem maya chesave' is directed by 'Gautham Menon' and featured music by A.R.Rahman, Co-artist is 'Samantha' in 2010, it is a commercial success at the box-office. Then he acted in '100% love' directed by 'sukumar', co_artist is 'Thamanna' in 2011, 'Dhada' movie in 2011 he acted with 'Kajal Agarwal'. In 2012 he acted in 'Autonagar Surya'. 'Thadaka' is a multistarrer movie 'Naga Chaithanya' and 'Sunil' acted as brothers in this movie. His coming up movie is 'Trayam' in this his grandfather 'Akkineni Nageswararao' and his father 'akkineni Nagarjuna' acted with him.
