Gopichand, is a popular Telugu film actor. He was born on June 12, 1979 at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. He is the younger son of the well known revolutionary filmmaker 'T. Krishna'. His elder brother 'T. Premchand' was working as an associate director to Mutyala Subbayya. Premchand made his debut as director and started working on a film under his home banner, but he died in a car accident. Gopichand is spouse of 'Reshma', niece of actor 'Meka Srikanth' on 12 May 2013.
He completed his studies in Chennai, capital city of Tamil Nadu. He did his engineering degree in Russia. He was not interested in films and acting at that time. After completing his engineering, he did dialogue modulation course for a year. Then he made his debut as hero with the Telugu movie 'Tholi Valapu'. Gopichand was a news reader for E TV before he was cast as a hero.

Tollywood Entry
Gopichand entered in Tollywood with the movie 'Tholi Valapu', which was a disaster at box office. His next movie 'Jayam' gave him success at box office, but this time as a villain. The movie was remade with same title in Tamil with 'Jayam' Ravi as hero. Later on he acted as a villain in movies 'Nijam' and 'Varsham'.
Film Career
Gopichand made a re-entry as hero with the movie 'Yagnam'. This became a box office success. He was acted in 'Ranam' in 2006 & 'Lakshyam' in 2007. His next film, 'Souryam', was released in September 2008. The next year, he acted only in one film 'Sankham' which released on 11 September 2009. His next film 'Golimar' was released on 27 May 2010. In 2011, he did 'Mogudu' which paired him up with 'Taapsee Pannu'. His latest release is 'Saahasam' in 2013, again with 'Taapsee', it become one of the most successful ventures of 2013.
