Regine made her debut performance in Kanda Naal Mudhal Tamil movie. She made debut in telugu with the movie Shiva Manasulo Shruti, for this movie she got SIIMA Award for Best Female Debutant award. Regina seen in the Kannada film Suryakaanti by director K. M. Chaitanya of Aa Dinagalu fame. The film featured her alongside actor Chetan. She played the lead role in Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam directed by AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary.
