Soundarya is an Indian Actress. She mainly acted in "Kannada" and "Telugu", also acted some of movies in "Tamil", "Malayalam" and "Hindi". soundarya was born on July 18, 1976 at Kolar, Karnataka, India. Her parents are "K.S. Satyanarayan" and "Manjula", she had one sibling "Amarnath" is a producer. Soundarya married her matrinal uncle s son, childhood friend and software engineer "G.S Raghu" on April 27, 2003. She acted in more than 100 films in multiple languages. Soundarya was died in a plane crash while campaigning for "Bharatiya Janatha Party" on April 17, 2004.

Soundarya is entered in industry because of her father, he is a producer. Her father s friend offered a role for soundarya when she was in MBBS first year, the movie "Gandharva" it was debut movie of Soundarya. Soumay s first Telugu movie was "Number One" against with "Super star Krishna". Then she acted in "Rajendrudu Gajendrudu" directed by "S.V Krishna reddy" paired with "Rajendra Prasad".

Film Career

In Telugu industry She achieve greater popularity so she shifted to Telugu movies. She acted more than 100 movies in Telugu. Among the other languages she acted many movies in Telugu. Soundarya Hit movies are " Pavithrabandham", "Pelliichesukundam", "Annaya", "Chudalani undhi", " Arunachalam". She was acted with "Chiranjeevi", "Nagarjuna", "Venkatesh", "Bala Krishna", "Krishna", "Srikanth", "Mohan Babu", "Vineeth", "Abbas", "Saikumar", "Vinod Kumar".

Soundarya acted in lady oriented movies "9 Nelelu", "Arundathi" and "Maa Inti Adapaduchu". She was produced and acted in Kannada movie "Dweepa".

Death

Soundarya died on April 17, 2004, in an plane crash near Bangalore, She was going to Andhra Pradesh to campaign for the "Bharatiya Janata Party" for the coming elections. Her brother "Amarnath" is a producer of Kannada films, also died in the accident.

Soundarya s husband and sister-in-law founded the "Amara Soundarya Social and Educational Trust" (ASSET). She maintained an orphanage in Bangalore. Soundarya donated money to numerous educational institutions during her lifetime. She was awarded the "Karnataka State Award" posthumously for her Kannada super hit film and her last film "Apthamithra" which was received by her mother.
