Ileana D'Cruz is an Indian film actress, familiariy appears in Telugu movies. She was born on November 1st, 1987 in Mumbai, India. Ileana native place is Goa. Her mother name is 'Sameera', she has two brothers and three sisters. Ileana completes her schooling in Goa, India, Pursuing graduation through correspondence from Bombay university. Ileana start modeling with Marc Robinson. She was persuaded and her first portfolio was created in January 2003. She began gaining notice through photo shoots and ramp shows and her second portfolio was set up the following year, which landed her three advertisements from 'Electrolux, Emami Talc and Fair and Lovely'. The latter offers for acting in feature films.

Ileana entered in tollywood with the film 'Devadasu', directed by Y. V. S. Chowdhary in 2006, paired with 'Ram', it is a major commercial success. For this movie she got FilmFare for best female debut. She next appeared in the 'Pokiri'. The film was a high financial success, emerging as the highest-grossing Telugu film at the time. She made her debut film in Tamil-language is in 'Kedi' in 2006. The film did not do so well at the box-office.

Film Career

Ileana acted in 'Khatarnak' in 2006 in which she acted opposite 'Ravi Teja', then she acted in 'Rakhi' in 2006 and Munna in 2007. She got Santosham Award for 'Jalsa' and the South Scope Style Award. In 2009 she acted in 'Kick', is a box office success. Later that year she starred in the films 'Rechipo' and Y. V. S. Choudary's 'Saleem' both of which performed poorly at the box office. In 2011 her movie 'Shakti' paired with 'Jr. NTR'. The movie 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi' which marked her second collaboration with 'Puri Jagannadh' and paired with 'Ravi Teja'.

Ileana's hindi debut with Anurag Basu's 'Barfi!'. The movie released on 14 September 2012, it accepts highly positive reviews from critics, it is a major commercial success, earning 1.75 billion worldwide. Ileana's performance was well received, earning her a Filmfare Best Female Debut Award, as well as a nomination for Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress.
